June 7, 10:45 – Lora Powell-Haney: “What’s Blooming Right Now?”
Let’s pause together and name what is growing right now. Paying attention to the growth happening within each of us and in the world around us is good medicine. Bring a flower or a beautiful (small!) branch to share. With song and ceremony, together we will find solace and comfort in a 100-year-old ritual created by our Unitarian ancestry, Rev. Norbert Capek. In a time when the world was recovering from one world conflict and trembling with the possibility of more, Rev. Capek created something to remind his congregants of the good around and within them. How might we also flourish, together?
June 14, 10:45 – Rev. Paul Britner: “Paul’s Theological Dictionary: Faith” When others ask, “Are you a believer?”, they usually have a specific belief in mind. Yet, faith is as universal as the human experience; it just takes different forms.
After the service all are invited to stay for an ice cream social as we bring our 2025-26 services to a close.
Sunday morning services will resume on September 13th.
